Equipment

Ingredients

  • 6 cups popcorn (fresh popped)
  • 1/2 cup raw honey
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 tsp coarse ground sea salt

Instructions

  • Pop the popcorn and place it into a large mixing bowl.
  • In a small saucepan, heat honey and butter over low-medium heat until melted and smooth.
  • Drizzle the mixture over the popcorn and stir to coat.
  • Spread popcorn onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
  • Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

This recipe works best on low-humidity days.
The honey coating is heavier than traditional kettle corn.
If the popcorn is too sweet, increase the amount of popcorn rather than reducing the honey.
